Journey to the North

Starved with boredom, there was a need for us to journey to the North, where we heard heaven was.

What the fuck?

Ok, first attempt to act sophisticated has fail. I shall stick back to my simple English.

Today was a tiring day, today we had a road trip travelling towards the North direction. Embarking precisely at 930am, we drove for 3 hours through mountains, valleys, gorges, sand pits, landmines and volcanoes before we reached our first destination.

When I saw our first location, I was shocked because I was not informed beforehand that we had to hike 2 km through the forest before we can reach our intended place. Although my forest trekking skills has been well-adhorned during my NS days, I seriously doubt that I want to relive those fucking lovely days again.




After walking through the forest for like half an hour, I was greeted with what seems like a movie scene.

A lake in the middle of the forest.

It may not have been the prettiest of lakes, but I seriously did not expect a lake to be in the middle of a dumb forest.



Alas! I thought to myself.

At least that crappy walk through the forest has been well paid off.

The water was quite clear too. Too bad it was winter or not I would have stripped down to my last piece of underwear and jumped straight into the lake.

LAKE lehhhh!!! How you expect me not to get excited? In Singapore we only have small ponds, no lakes~



After finishing with our lake adventure and cam-whoring, we took the long treacherous road back to where our cars were parked and adjourned to our second destination.

Second place was pretty normal. Just a pretty big beach where you can find in Sentosa so I shall skip that. It shall not mark a special chapter in my road trip today.

The third and last location of the day was perhaps the most memorable day of my life.

To me personally, it was perhaps the nicest sun set I had ever witness in my 24 years of living as an organism.

This was understandable cause in Singapore, we have no shit sun set. Either it is blocked by a HDB flat, if not will be by Suntec City.

Anyway, the first sight that greeted me was this HUGE sand dune. As the wind blew, you could see sand flowing as if it just glided over.

And then right next to the sand dune was this cliff that was over looking a town. Right above the town was the sun setting down.

Breath taking....

Orgasms Mind Blowing~

A Short Fact About Me

People who know me knows that I am the most humble and modest person who hates travelling to pool centres to play pool.

I mean although I am the most humble and modest person around, I dont understand the need to travel all the way to pool centres, then pay as per hour to play the freaking pool. If you are thirsty or hungry, the food sold at the centres are sure to reap you off as well.

Seriously, I hate travelling to pool centres to play pool.


That explains why there is a pool table just right outside my room now. Tsk~

What better way to play pool at the expense of just stepping out your room?

Seriously, being the most humble and modest me, I hate showing off =)

Beauty of Lamps

My musckles are really aching badly now. Noticed that I wrote musckles instead of muscles?

Well, as quoted from a gay friend back in army, "My muskles are so strong that I gotta add a 'k' in them."

Don't ask me why, 3 years later I still can not figure out seriously what the fuck he meant.

Anyway seriously, my musckles are seriously crying for help. This morning when I woke up, I wanted to lift up my hand. My mind responded, but not my hand. I couldn't lift it up. Finally after using more strength pumping more musckles into my hands, I was able to lift them up.

I reckon the tiredness present in my body must be maybe, perhaps, possible got a slight chance due to the room-shifting yesterday. Guess the day's work must have taken a toil on my fragile body.

I shifted from the first floor to the second floor and got myself a proper room =)




Well, I call it proper as in now I have a door. The previous room, which I am not sure whether I can call it a room, was pretty dodgy. No, it was shitty. Anyway basically the whole house shuffle rooms, including our landlord who was forced by us most kind-heartedly agree to shuffle our rooms.

Due to the influence of one of my housemate, I was fascinated by how lamps can bring life into your room. Therefore, I went on a lamp-hunting mission at Ikea today. By the way, for the benfit of my countrymen. The Aussies here pronounced it as I-kia, not E-kia.

I got laughed once by an Australian when I asked him where is E-kia.

"Its I-kia, mate. Ha ha"

"K*n Ni Nah. ha ha your head". These words formed in my my mind but I didn't have the balls to let them come out from my mouth.

Anyway, I gotten myself 3 nice lamps for just 50 bucks. I am loving my room so much that I don't feel like going back to Singapore cause my room here is so much nicer. And I can foresee myself bringing back my beloved lamps when I should supposedly graduate next year.

I love lamps =)

It Has Been a While..

Finally, after four months of patient awaiting, another semester is over, another transition of torturing gone.

Exams are finally over. Give me a big SIGH please!

Hold on for a minute while I remove my ear phones. My smile is touching my ears.

Yesterday night while indulging ourselves in studying at the Dwarfs' Hut, we had a sudden thought of a game.

We playing Cua Dai Dee. It was not just another day of normal-playing Cua Dai Dee. The punishment was harsh. The punishment was siao one.

The losers will have to stand outside at the balcony; with their shirts removed.

Well, the punishment wouldn't have be that bad if it wasn't 14 degrees with strong wind blowing.

Excuse me, I need to go get some tissues for my nose...

My Resolve to Quit Smoking

People have always question in my resolved when I say I want to, or have the idea to quit smoking.

Therefore, I shall make a vow here. A vow that reinstates how resolved I am in quitting smoking. A vow that shows my seriousness in stopping the inhaling of harmful gases into my body.

The grading system in my University for each module is from 1 to 7. A 4 for just nice pass and a 7 is the highest achievable result.

I, Hong Ziqiang, NRIC S83XXXXXX, solemnly and sincerely swear that if I shall attain 7 for all my five modules this semester, I will, from the day my results are release, quit smoking, SIR!



I have a feeling I am going to carry on smoking =)

The Miraculous Truth of Cats Versus Dogs

It has long been a puzzle of which is the smarter species between both. Men has long reckon dogs as the smarter ones. Not that I have anything against what common men say, but I have the most humble opinion of my own that I would love to share.

I think, or should I conclude that actually cats are the smartest.

Oh I heard someone shouting NOoo from afar. You can give instructions to dogs like shake hands, lie down on the floor, get the newspapers or even fetch your smelly slippers from the cabinet which cats could absolutely not be able to accomplish.

Yeah well, that is true to a certain extent. Cats cannot do all these; as what commoners think.

I think that the reason why cats do not do all this is because they are smarter; they choose not to follow. They have the intellect of humans, or close to humans. That is why when you order cats to shake hands, lie down on the floor, fetch the stupid newspapers or even your slippers, they refuse to oblige. This is because in their mind they will be thinking what the fuck and choose to walk away instead.

Imagine if someone orders you, a human, to shake hands or lie down on the floor, I for one, will surely give him a what the fuck face. THATS EXACTLY WHAT CATS DO!!

Cats are smarts animals unlike those dogs who will choose to follow your most silliest instructions.

Pardon me but dog owners, that creature that is sleeping on the couch right now isn't as smart as you think it is =)

Fear Factor

Prior to examinations, or should I say during examination period, there are two things which I fear the most.

The second most feared is falling sick.

The first most feared is forgetting your exam dates.

At this moment, I have officially kana the second most feared. I have flu. I hate flu. When I have flu, it means that my main ventilation valves aka nose is not functioning properly now. As a result, I have to resort to using my reserve ventilation valve which is my mouth.

It totally sucks inhaling and exhaling through my mouth.

Just imagining your fart going through your mouth.

Nah Beh~~

Path to Revenge

In an era of wars, even the greatest warrior has to have a good rest before he steps into the battlefield.

This morning I had my very first paper for this semester, my first battle. I wanted to catch a good rest yesterday night for my big day but it was not helped by the fact that my neighbours were having a party and creating one hell of a ruckus.

It did not really last very long, perhaps from 11pm till 3am.

And guess what, this morning I had no strength to wield my sword pen at all as my strong muscular arms were sore; sore from the stuffing of my fingers into my ears.

But behold my words, I shall seek my revenge after my exams. Not adding the dodgy 2.1 speakers that one of my housemates have, we have a total of 17.3 quality sound system in my house. Even if I place one speaker in every corner of the house, I still have enough to put in the toilet and including my dustbin.

And no, I shall not blast the 17.3 speakers in the middle of the night, it is too cruel. Cruel is not a statement that underlines the kind hearted me. They should have a good rest during the middle of the night.

Instead, I shall blast them early on a weekend morning =)

Independence Day

Tomorrow marks the start of my very first exam paper for this semester and one of the very many few times when I pray for the blessing of my grandparents, great grandparents, friends of my grandparents, relatives of my grandparents and acquaintances of my grandparents.

A little nervous.

A little excited.

A little concerned.

Tireless nights have been endured these past few weeks.


But behold; thou shall not fear; thou shall not be overwhelmed; for thou shall step valantly into the battlefield, slaying questions that stand in my way.....

Just chanced upon a new variety show from Taiwan amidst my long hours of revision. Well, the show is not really that new and has been on-going for quite a while.

This show (超級星光大道) is actually more of a singing competition. Theoretically speaking it is a singing competition. But practically speaking it is not so much of a singing competition.

For your reference, there was this singing competition that was done by Channel U and I did not really enjoy watching it. But for this Taiwan's 超級星光大道, I really enjoyed it. Just take it as a reference.

Marriage

Ever wondered what marriage is all about?

This is just some thoughts of mine after I watched a show by Richard Gere called "Shall We Dance?"

Why do people want to get married? Or desire to get married?

Is it because you just want to have someone to hold on for the rest of your life?

In my own humble opinion, perhaps it is because we want someone to witness our life.

No one wants to be born into this world and die un-noticed.

There are billions of people in this world. No one will notice you at all. To others, to me, you are just another living organism that is taking in extra oxygen and producing unnecessary carbon dioxide; not to mention the occasional fart.

All human beings want attention. They want someone to witness the things that happen in their lives, the joy and pain one's experience.

Perhaps that is why people get married. You may not have the whole world witnessing your life, but at least you have that one single person who will remember you and sees you through everything.

I guess if I marry, it will perhaps be for this reason too. To let someone know I once existed.


I wouldn't mind stucking to one-gina for the rest of my life.

Only One Word Can Describe

Came across a video clip.

There is only one word in my mind now that can describe what I saw; Hypnotising....



I dont know what is so captivating about this clip. The only words he sang was Fa, La, Ti and Da. Anyway just watch the damn clip. It is seriously good. The remaining 47 sec was totally awesome. These are times when my new 5.1 speakers comes in handy =)

Apparently this performer is a singer from Russia. And if I am not wrong, he is quite famous in China and Taiwan also. Oh man~ I loved his voice.

Falling In My Dreams

Ever since young, I always have this weird dream; to make it worse, it is always the same weird dream.

Creepy isn't it?

In my dream, I would always be falling of from a certain place. And everytime it reaches this part, I would always be jerked awake.

And the thing is this dream never occurs few hours after I slept, it ALWAYS happen just after I close my eyes and fall asleep.

I know because I feel it.

I wonder does this thing happen only to me or does it happen to other people before. I never told anyone before because well, I seldom remember asking anyone about it.

Speaking of dreams. Sometimes, I actually see things which I have dreamt before.

For example I am eating a banana in maybe, the freezer? And then I would suddenly be like Oh I thought I have dreamt the exact scenario before? Same surroundings, same banana, same feeling.

I only encountered this situation like maybe a dozen times? But well it is enough for me to remember. I tried looking online for an explanation before. But I never typed the right words in the search engine.

I tried typing "Real life in dreams".

And returned me results which were toally crappy; like a movie.

I am really curious. Curious on how do science explain these things. I do not want to hear answers like "you are just remembering wrong stuff" or "you are hallucinating bitch". I know I am not because I can remember clearly that it happened in my dream before. Mostly a few months or few years back when I was sleeping.


Speaking of which, I dreamt that I was on the beach with Christy Chung once.

I am still waiting for it to happen =)
