2nd Day Back In Australia

Before I came back to Australia, I was a bit sianz.

Before I came back to Australia, I was a bit sianz because I know when I reach here, I had quite a number of things in hand to settle. Those things are sianz till I dont even feel like typing out what there are cause they really make me sianz.

Surprisingly, I actually managed to complete all these gan-si-lang-sianz things by the 2nd day.

If you are smart enough, you will know I meant today.

One of this gan-si-lang-sianz thing was to look for a new house. Surprisingly I actually found one so fast. Lao Jiao 就是 Lao Jiao (Old Bird - Experienced).

Last semester when I first came here, I spend a total of 7 days before I finally found my ideal place. And some thing to note. The renting market then was that there were more houses or rooms than potential renters.

And this time round, I spend only 2 days looking for the ideal place. And something to note. The market now is hot till for every rooms or houses that are renting out, at least 6 people are interested in renting it.

I was petrified. I was nervous. I was worried.

But I didnt ka-lang-ka-bo (Make a mess out of things).

In this kind of winner takes all situation, its when being a True Singaporean At Heart will emerge as winners.

The advertisement said to call after 5pm. I called at 330pm.

The owner said to come and view the house at 7pm. I arrived at 6pm.

The owner said to wait for his call to see whether I will get the room next day at 9am. I called him at 830am.

The owner said Maybe I will get the house. I threaten him and said I got another offer in another place. If he doesnt want to rent it out to me, I will get the other place.

I lied.

He believed.

Now I am at my new home =)

Thats how Singaporeans always con Vietnamese.

Leaving On A Jet Plane - again...

In perhaps, maybe, possibly got a slight chance of 28 hours, I will be once again leaving on a jet plane; back to Australia.

All my bags are roughly packed, but I am not ready to go. Oh my god, where am I such a Singaporean At Heart. Why cant I detest Singapore more? Perhaps, maybe, possibly got a slight chance that now I would actually enjoy the fact that I will be leaving.

Never mind the fact that taxi rides are extremely expensive.

Never mind the fact that most certain Singaporeans are really fucking kiasus and inconsiderate.

Never mind the fact that Singapore weather is damn hot for a fat person like me .

Never mind the fact that Singapore has lot of Ah Lians.

Never mind the fact that highly educated Singaporeans are sometimes really very egoistic fuckers and thinking being a customer, they are right in every way.

Never mind the fact that the aunties here rush and push for every sale that is held in any tiny part of Singapore.

Never mind all these facts. I love Singapore. Being so patriotic. I would like to say the national pledge. Please chant along with me.

We, are Singaporeans living in Singapore.

Pledge ourselves as one united people.

Regardless of Chinese, Malay, Indian or Ba-E.

To build a trouble free society.

Based on tax free, low rates and no GST.

So as to achieve taxi free, MRT also free,

and plenty of public holidays for our nation.

~sing~

We are Singapore.

We are Singapore.

We will stand together hear my mother the lion roar.

We are Singapore.

We are Singapore.

We are a nation strong and free forevermore~

Journey To The South-East Land

Very fast again, in approximately 2 weeks, and I will once again be on my way back to Aussialah. Not that I hate that place, I just prefer Motherland.

If I say I am not feeling sian now, I lied.

If I say I dont feel like going back there now, lied.

If I say I love being a student, I lied.

If I say I love Aussialah, I lied.

If I say I look like Andy Lau, I am being honest.

Ok I lied. That was when I was younger. Now I look more like Phua Chu Kang.

Well, looking on the not-so-dim side. At least I get to decieve recieve some ang bao money before I head back. That will assure me at least an extra one slice of ham for every meal for the next 9 months.

Yes. 9 months. That will be how long I will be away from Motherland this time round. Hopefully everything goes smoothly this time round. Hopefully its time my Ah Gongs & Ah Mas realise that its time they po pi me a bit.

Speaking of which, do you know there are really some morons that I feel like slapping their face sometimes?

There always exist morons that its obvious when the sign written on the door says "Pull". But they always like to try the luck and PUSH the door instead.

There always exist morons that when they know they are sick, they should go see the doctor. Yet they choose to stay at home and do nothing. Hoping the disease will fuck fade away itself.

There always exist morons that knowing drinking too much water in the night is no good. Since you tend to wake up every now and then in the middle of your sleep to go pee. Yet they choose to drink tubs and tubs of water before sleeping.

There always exist morons that they know eating supper at night is bad for health. Since its the easiest way to grow fat. Yet they choose to eat whenever their friends call them out.

There always exist morons that they know their voice sucks. But they always want to snatch the microphone whenever they are in the ktv.

I am proud to say. I am one of those morons =P
