Planning my way home

recently been trying to find out my cheapest way to get home in Nov.

call me Kiasu or what for starting early since there are still 4 months left.

while, its cause i carry the Singapore Spirit Of kiasu-ness in Australia.

i dont care. i just want to get back home. i miss the food my frans and family.

after days of researching and asking around, guess i will settle for my Plan A.

Details of Plan A
- Book online flights for Virgin Blue and Tiger Airways this week.
- On the day itself, head to Brisbane Domestic Airport (9pm) and take plane to Darwin.
- Reach Darwin International Airport(1235am).
-Alight, collect my fucking baggage, cut queue to chop my passport then immediately run brisk walk to board my TigerAirway flight(0305am) to Singapore. (Time allocation for this step is just 2 hours 30 min)
-Arrive in Singapore's Budget Terminal(6am)

Total cost: SGD$447.32

Steps to take should problems arise during Plan A

Problem: Flight to Darwin is delayed.
Solution: Run across 3000 miles (= to many many Singapores) to Darwin International Airport on foot hoping that i can make it in 4 hours.

Problem: Flight doesnt reach Darwin International Airport as time stated.
Solution: Tell the pilot i am due for labour. must faster reach Darwin International Airport.

Problem: Delay in collecting of luggage.
Solution: Hand carry my luggage instead of sending it to the plane. which means cutting my excess luggage meaning dont bring back souvenirs for my frans. maybe just buy those Clip-On Koala Bears cut down on my own luggage.

Problem: Custom officer chop fucking slow.
Solution: Bring my own chop along.

Problem: Queue for chopping is damn long.
Solution: Scatter those Clip-On Koala Bears my own 5 cents and 10 cents on the floor hoping people will come pick them up.

Problem: All the above 5 problems happen to me on that day.
Solution: Pray it wont happen.

As for when i am flying back, have yet to decide but time is confirmed cause there is onli one flight to Singapore by TigerAirways everyday.

but most probably i will leave some allocation after my exams to go visit Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and other places of interest.

What a Saturday~!

to many other people, is just a normal Saturday.

but to me, its a Saturday which i havent came across for 3 years!

i have long forgotten that feeling of praying for weekends to arrive faster ever since Poly.

just so glad; so happy to roll up my bundle of worries about school and throw them away put them on one side.

i jus came back home this morning. reason was cause i spent my night at my classmates aka friends house which is just 5 10 15 20 min walk away from my house.

i really enjoy their company cause they are realli franly. (write like this just in case they do chance upon my blog.) the characters that live in that house are Mr Chinese who cant speak chinese, Mr Malay who grow pubic hair on his head and Miss Short who can buy a child's bus ticket.

anyway ytd by right we were supposed to be revising. but then just too bad all of them were either too tired, or busy walking around the house doing nothing or busy setting up their internet modem.

so pratically to say, the only person who have touch the textbooks for the whole night was only Yours Sincerely.

its ok. if you find calling me Yours Sincerely too troublesome, just call me King.
whichever u prefer. i am not particular abotu this small stuffs.

ok as usual, i always side track while writing. back to story.

anyway i studied till round 230am in the morning tryin to dig up my memories thats been deeply dug into the soil of my braincells.

as expected, given the size capacity of my head, i didnt really recover much of those i have learnt.

but nonetheless, least i tried.

my frans gave me a Master title that night.

they appointed me the Sofa Master that night.

KanNiNahBeh Turban~ basically means i sleep on sofa right? and i tout Miss Short who can buy a child's bus ticket Mr Chinese who cant speak chinese would offer me to sleep on her his bed loh~.

anyway woke up today and try to cook Tom Yam Maggi Mee for them.
well... except that its too fucking a bit spicy. it actually taste quite all right what~

and only thing is that it sent Miss Short who can buy a child's bus ticket on a shitting spree later on....

not that bad what~

No Longer Such A Computer Idiot~

today my stupid network cable went bonkers again.

i was fucking angry with my cables cause i think its like the 3rd time this week it gave me problems.

so out of anger, i decided to refix the "head plugs" myself.

so following closely to the colour line-ups, i actually succeeded in a DIY network cable~!

KanNiNahBeh Turban, i always knew i am a talent not onli in cooking, but in computer also...

well, although technically a network cable doesnt realli relate very well to defining whether i am a computer idiot a not. but i dont give a damn~!

in my case, it is~!

so i hereby announce again, i am SUCH A GENIUS~!

Beginning Of WhatTheFuck Am I Supposed To Do?

Today is 26th July 2006.
Today is Wednesday.
Today is the Day where i start to curse KanNiNahBeh Turban~.

i attended 2 new modules today. both modules required a project done.

guess what? the good news is that means i onli need to study for 2 exams since the rest will be under project assignment.

but the bad news is, i am not happy with the good news at all.

sounds bad enough?

next talk about the 1st module shall we?

.....

....

hmm k lets skip it. coz i still have not a single fuck idea on what the module require.

so now lets carry on to the 2nd module shall we?

dont worry mate, i wont skip it cause i knw clearly what is required.
but becoz i knw clearly what is required, i am really starting to curse.

for this certain KanNiNahBeh Turban module, my team is required to build a car.

a fucking car from scratch~!!

whats nice to hear is we design it onli on paper. so we are not required to actually manufacture it.

designing stuff are not new to me though since i was quite well trained in poly.

but this time, the reason why i maintain a constant fuck this fuck that attitude is cause its just so fucking more difficult compared to poly~!

we gotta calculations for evrything dey. calculate torque lah, calculate when car turn the amount of stress on teh wheels la, calculate n design evry single detail that is in a car.

namely shock absorbers, suspension, chassis, engine compartment, wheels, shaft, gearbox, clutch, brakes etc

all must have dimensions and formulas to show it works ok~!

the onli thing i know about car is that it has 4 wheels?
when u wan start engine u insert ur key into the fucking hole and turn 2 times till u hear the engine roar?
and i knw where all the buttons for the lights and wipers are?
oh ya one additional thing. i know how to change tyres therotically though i didnt really had the chance to get my tyres punctured though.

ok enough of my school shit stuffs.

today a thing angered me siah. onli today i know that though i applied for unlimited internet access, there was a rule statin that the total amount of download usage i get is onli 10GB. that means once i exceed that, it will be resized from 512mb to 64kb.

damn cheebye right?

and it applies to all internet services company here. and KanNiNahBeh Turban i onli knew it today.

me and my hsemates were happily downloading porno some educational stuff not knowing this crap rule somemroe.

so ytd we were finding it weird as in how come our internet access is so fucking slow.

so anyway i gave the company a call and nearly scolded ChaoCheeBye tried to reason things out.

so in the end lan lan, gotta wait till 20Aug before we get our full 512MB connection speed back...

i simply love living in Australia...

My Soupy Rice..

today i tried making mui-fan for the 1st time in my life. and pardon me, its not a failed fried rice that has accidentally turned to mui-fan but this time i intentionally cooked it as mui-fan ok..

and though its my 1st time cooking mui-fan, my housemates commented it was nice ok. i thought so myself too.

fuck man. i am a genius when it comes to cooking. now i am considering changing my degree to Bachelor In Food Science (Chinese & Western Cooking).

i hate being a genius..

I am BoreD~

I am Bored.

I am Bored and I got nothing to blog.

but still i came here though i know clearly i have nothing in my head at all.

I am Bored.

I wish school can faster start next week cause then i will have more things to occupy myself with.

Here, when I am Bored, i got no frans to la-teh with me. and got no one to sms with me cause its expensive.

my lighting-fast-fat-fat-fingers-that-can-type-45 letters/min sms skill has deteriorate to perhaps 45-letters-every-5-min-with-fat-fat-wobbly-fingers sms.

sms here is a luxury, making phone calls are more practical. thats why i know if there was ever a competition on Sms-ing, people here will lose big time. and i mean really BIG TIME~

this evening onli left me and one of my hse mate for dinner. so the 2 of us decided to have no mroe fried rice today and pamper ourself. so we went ahead and bought a 7 inch meat pie, potatoe salad and whipped up some pasta for ourselves.

not bad. cost onli 4 AUD per person. the meat pie was a good buy at AUD 2.49 cause it expires tomorrow soon.

............

food is quite cheap here considering you gotta cook them urselves though. an uncooked large pizza can jus cost 2.70AUD.

how good is that?

however, this type of cheap prices is onli applicable to food which you must heat it up urself.
other than that, food sell in those shops are still a big NO NO cause its fucking expensive.

damn cold.. think i shall go grab a smoke outside my unit..

How Gracious Can We bE?

been here for 2 weeks and is surprise to see how gracious aussies are.

i mean back in sg i heard how gracious most aussies were. but i didnt knw they were actually so much better than sgporeans.

here when u board bus, everyone does it politely and patiently. people will queue up and then slowly board the bus. buying ticket is also unlike sg where u just scan ur EZ Link card. here you gotta tell the driver where u are gg and u have the option to choose between a single trip or a daily trip.

so normally it takes round 6 sec for a person to board a bus. imagine u spend THIS much time in sg while trying to board bus. guess people behind will be shouting KAN NI NA can faster a bit a nottttt I know you are slow but its ok. slowly take your time~

and when boarding bus, a handful of pple, which includes me now, do shout a "Thank You" to the driver b4 alighting. and the driver will give a smile to you from his rear mirror.

imagine you do this while alighting a SBS bus. shout a "Thank You" to the driver and i think he will look at u from his rear mirror with a WhatTheFuck face then faster drive off.

no offence but this is really how gracious i feel they are.

and believe me, there is not a single stray dog or cat here. all there have here are stray birds which they call Ibis. its really an unfamiliar sight u knw?

i guess singapore can march towards a more gracious society which we have always wanted by catchin up all the dogs and cats and release peacocks or ostriches into Orchard and our neighbourhood areas.

how nice would that be right?

`but still, i am proud being Singaporean`

And Finally...

... my home internet is set up. damn chim siah..

in singapore, i am already a computer idiot that onli knows how to on and off pc equipped with not much PC skills.

so i didnt expect much of those skills to be of help in setting up my home wireless network. luckily, my room mate's brother who lives in brisbane was here to help us. How thankful am I~!

just paid most of my outstanding bills using internet banking. surprisingly, i recieved more letters here than i recieve in singapore.

got what utility bills lah, house rental fee lah, telephone bill la, internet bills lah..

ironically, back in singapore, i always wished there were more letters for me.
but now, i wished there were more letters for my room mates instead.

talk about ironic right?

school starts next week. pretty excited about it. i havent touch books ever since 3 years ago when i was forced by the government to protect my country happily took my ferry to Pulau Tekong.

exams~ tests~ lab tests~ tutorials.. all these verbs were long thrown away by me. never to think i am forced to carry it in my mouth now. just hope 2 years will 平平安安 bypass for me.

with no fail in any modules please~!

pray that the 2 voodoo dolls which i brought here will work. speaking of which, i am not so kia-see as to bring along 2 with me ok. one i bought myself. the other one was given to me by Eunice Jean Ong, one of my many gal-frans female frans.

another ironic thing is it was till 10 years later after i knew her that i figure out to call her Eunice or call her Jean.

oh ya by the way, Happy Belated Birthday to my 3 buds Song, Choongkit and Weisen whose birthday falls on 7th, 16th and 19th July respectively.

wahaha cheap way to wish them right. wishing 3 in one go. how sincere can i be?

maybe next year onwards i shall wish all my frans in one go... hmm not a bad idea....

This is SLOWWWW~

been trying desperately to speed up the delivery of my bloody wireless modem to my house these few days.

but evrytime i call the bloody centre, it tells me its on its way from either sydney, new south wales, or another coconathan place which i never heard before.

why is it so hard to just deliver a modem to my place so i can bloody connect to the internet?

back in SG, if i jus call Singtel and raise my voice jus request a bit, they will have it delivered to my lovely home in Yishun in maybe just 1 or 2 days.

Efficiency sure isnt one of the word which they have instilled into their head in my fellow Aussies.

i have been like askin since last tues. last fri i called again
and they told me "oh we have only just detected your phoneline. but rest assure, i will request it to be send to ur place on monday." (but i tink on last tuesday itself my phoneline was already connected)

"oh so does it mean i can recieve my modem on monday?'

"sorry but it needs to be dispatched from Sydney and by the time it reaches ur place, guess it will be round wednesday"

".... ok no problem"

and so anyway, not really particular confident of the efficiency, i called them up just a moment ago again.

and this time, they told me it will be dispatched from New South Wales and be sent to me by Friday.

i mean what the fuck!?!

i know australia is big, i dont mind the time which they take to travel. but hey~!

different people tell me different things evrytime. haiz.. when can i recieve my bloody modem so i can connect to internet at home~~~~

oh ya by the way, i am now in the library. just attended my orientation. still got 1 more in the afternoon.

ytd night we were plannin to cook fried rice.

but in the end it became Mui Fan (soupy rice)..

sianzzzz.....
i need to brush up on my cooking.....

My Very Own House

today's main even was only one thing. Getting my HOUSE KEYS~!!!

went earli in the morning to the agency after a free hearty breakfast that was included at in my daily stay at the hostel's canteen.

after filling our already fucking fat stomach with loads of hashbrowns, egg, bacon etc, me and my room mate Mr Ling-kin Park adjourned on our trip to the real estate agency.

actually there were corn flakes and other stuff for our breakfast, but i was nvr a fan of these crap stuff. i am a 100% Singapore breed carnivore.

we reached the place of the agency and was greeted by a man who kinda reminded me of Paul Bearer. (Old WWFUndertaker's Ex agent)

anyway Mr Paul Bearer carefully noted out to me the things which i was supposed to know. being a 1st time house buyer, i listen with 101% attentiveness, nvr missing a single detail.

finally after all the listening, he passed to me our house keys~!!

headed down to our new house immediately.

wat a nice feeling. my very own 1st house. though technically i didnt really pay it with my money nor it isnt the case that i bought it, but rather i rented it.

but anyway its realli a nice feeling.

holding a checklist in hand (meant to check all the things things that are not functioning. so when we return the house, they do not deduct all these already spoilt stuff from our lease), i happily went around scanning through inch-by-inch for a possible defect that i can find.

i actually recorded a video of my house :) onli a few will have my video. i am still considerin whether should i put it up in my blog.

anyway, just so happen a neighbour of mine was sellin her used stuff so we head over in an attempt to clear whatever things she has.

just so happens that she was a Singaporean too. how nice i thought, can kill price liao can used my Ah-Qiang-Bing Fa: 32 Ji to kill price.

1st Ji: Get to know the person more and interacting with him/her. If its a her, talk to her till she is even prepared to sleep with you comfortable with you.

Me: "So is studying herre very difficult?"

She: "Ya very difficult lo."

Me: "Wa.. den did you manage to get honours?"

She: "Ya got. 1st Class Honours"

...................

Na beh Turban...

difficult but got 1st class honours siah. if i not wrong the requirement was 96% (if i nvr remember wrongly) and above. say difficult somemore siah..

anyway enough of my 1st Ji.

time to execute my final few price killing moves which i adhorned in SG.

me: "so how much is this mattress?"

she: "25 AUD"

me: "wa so expensive ah. steady lah. we sgporeans leh. u so pretty. give me discount leh."

she: "cannot"

me: "wa laoz. if u sell me cheaper, den i got mroe money to buy more stuff from you mah."

she: "cannot."

me: "ok la. u sell me 25AUD and give me that cup free."

she: "cannot"

me: "okok. u sell me 25 AUD and give me that packet of tissue free"

she: "cannot"

me: "wa nah beh cheebye. evrything cannot cannot come on mateeeee. don like this mah. nan de we in sg so small country nvr see each other b4. must come across 9000 miles b4 we can see each other. must be fate leh. steady la."

she: "cannot"

me: "...."

i thought my Ah-Qiang-Bing Fa: 32 Ji to kill price was good. but she defeated me with her No matter what just say cannot skill.

anyway in the end we still bought quite number of stuff la. for quite cheap price. however there is only one mattress and there are 3 of us. so i gave it to my other room mate lo.

but bcoz we bought quite number of stuff. she in the end still got give us free things la haha.

i knew my Ah-Qiang-Bing Fa: 32 Ji to kill price is formidable.

anyway, i will have not internet access from tmro onwards as i will be movin out from my current hostel to my new house. jus how long till i can online again i also dont know.

maybe nx week once my house broadband is up? not sure too... anyway, got fuckin mani things to buy.

ma de... now i know why my mother always tell me: "you tink set up a home so easy ah"

1st Time To The City

Synopsis
ok first and foremost, you are finally going to see photos of me in Brisbane :)
the reason why previously i thought i cant is bcoz i was usin the hostel pc. and they have a user id for login.

i asked the counter and too she said i can onli use their pc instead of unplugging their cable and plug in to my laptop cause of "User ID" login shit and so on.

anyway i will just say i somehow manage to "hack" and use my laptop to connect to the internet.

therefore, i am finally able to share my photos with you all :) especially for certain special someone.

Ok anyway lets start my actual blogging:

today was sunday which i assumed will be boring haha. but nonetheless, thank goodness i saw my sgporean frans who have reached here a few days earlier. they were new to Brisbane like me but however, one had a sister who tagged along and was previously in Brisbane b4.

they were planning for a walk in town and reluctant to spend the day in "bunk" again, i followed them to town.

took a nice bus down to city area and head for the high class pasa malam flea market immediately haha. wonderful place and was just by the sea.

finally the city

Look at this. so high tech. its a display shown on a WINDOW. and u its touch screen de somemore

.... in the end lan lan no eat

soon it was dark and we head over to chinatown where i finally had noodles instead of Subway. but kan ni na, had something like Wanton Mee soup which cost round 8AUD loh chee bye~

but to be frank, the potion was quite big. but neh neh i think their MSG is free de, i nvr before in my life drink soup drink till i gettin more and more thirsty.

took their City Train back to my place. it was jus 8pm and see how deserted it is.

and finally, a note to my family.

I thought my troubles ended.....

... but it was a big time wrong for me.

Just finding a house alone wasnt enough. it jus provides you with a roof over your head. but it doesnt take care of your basic needs.

my house got no furnitures, no kitchen ware, nothing at all. jus air, nice and clean air.

so no choice. gotta go buy furnitures. but unlike SG where they are almost furniture shops everywhere, i have little of these shops that are near to me.

actually to be exact, i find none. except for an ikea that is round 1 hour bus ride away. and make that changing of 3 buses also.

i have another choice actually. to find 2nd hand furnitures which are slightly cheaper. but 1st thing is, where do i get the transport? and i need some basic items like mattress and blankets badly.

so i got no choice but to go to Ikea and buy.

anyway, early this morning, i called u ikea to double confirm whether they provide any delivery service and how much they charge for delivery. ok sounds reasonable.

next is to find out where ikea is. therefore, i dig out my very faithful street directory and went online searching for the way.

so anyway i am now well-prepared.

and we got lots of other stuffs to buy also..
due to time problems, i gotta plan when we buy these things, how we buy these things, what things we need to buy...

but nvm, heng i was once-upon-a-time-a-3rd-Sergeant-with-Silver-bayonet-and-did-a-one-course-Platoon-Sergeant so i am quite well taught in plannin things haha. but damn tiring leh~

and dont knw why i come aust i become smarter. thought of a new pick up line liao. nx time can use

"Hi baby, i wish you are my wind"

"huh why?"

" so u can blow me everyday"

House Hunting Day Final

and finally after 3 days of hunting, the Man has brought home his trophies.

i finally managed to find my house. so happy..

but after 23 years of life i had, its is wiser for me not to get so happy so fast.
cause who knows?

on monday when i go, the agent may suddenly tell me "Oh I am so sorry mate. the person has decided not to let you have the house."

anyway i will look on the bright side. hopefully things will be fine.

today i noticed that aussies hardly jay-walk.
i walked across a particular traffic light when i wasnt supposed to cause it shows Mr Red Man on the pole and there wasnt any cars at all.

but to my amusement, onli LIMPEH walk past the street loh.

the other aussies look at me as if "Wo. Do Chinese cant see Red? There is a Mr Red Man blinking at you cant you see~?"

anyway, aussies are really friendly here. i was wondering who told me that aussies in Brisbane are very racist. i am beginning to suspect that idea.

perhaps they are onli racist against ugly people?

no wonder they treat me so friendly.

............

.....

anyway monday i am going to grab the keys. but problem is my house got no nothing at all. only got a stove. but least there is a stove, i can cook some maggi mee finally.

i was thinking of Assam Laksa Maggi yesterday and i realise my mouth start to have lot of saliva. i also think of the 900+ laksa that is sold near Yishun. i miss them..

tuesday i need go get furnitures too. will be very busy.

but nonetheless, i can finally settle down, relax. slow down my pace and enjoy the view of Brisbane :)

`really tired from all the running about these few days`
but not to worry..
cause why?
Lim peh is HONG ZIQIANG WAHAHA

House Hunting Day II

this is crap. score zero goals today. finding houses here is big time crap.

i only plan to stay in my current temporary accommodation for a while due to the high cost. and hopefully within 2 or 3 days i could find my permanent place.

well, this was a dream that i wished for back in singapore.

and as the saying goes, "dreams only happen when you are sleeping."

how true...

they are now not many places up for rentals. and even if there are, they are either too fucking expensive or the date of availability is all the way till late of july.

and those that are available now and suit my criteria of "cheap", a lot of people, like me, wants to rent them too.

so what we do is fill in a fucking miserable thinny whinny skinny paper and hand up to the agent. after that he or she will check thru our data from the office, wait for feedback, hands it to the owner for him or her to choose who he or she wants the house to be rent to.

all these process takes up to 7 days.

Nah Beh Turban~

see lah. jialat liao.. seems like my ah gong and ah ma (both of whom have passed away peacefully) cant po pi me from singapore. think its maybe cause here is foreign country and they cant speak english.

or maybe there is no air flights to Australia over at their place.

haha.

ok sorry not funny~

House Hunting Day 1

as i am blogging now, my legs feel tired and aching from all the walking.

the day began at 10am(aust time) for me. wanted to sleep longer as i watched world cup ytd. though it was just the 1st half, by the time i finished watchin it was already 545am. wanted to watch the whole match but time doesnt allow me to. i knew i would be dead tired if i did so.

by the time i finished brushing my teeth, wash face, shaved it was 1030am. i was trembling. water here is so cold.

to make it worse, the water in the basin doesnt have hot water. what the fuck~

took a bus to Indooroopilly Shopping Centre to search for agencies. bad thing. they didnt have houses that suit my criteria. therefore, i decided to walk all the way back to campus in midst of hoping to see some houses put up for rental on the way back.

all the walking make my balls really hurt. walking in brisbane isnt very easy. if it was flat road then its still fine. but the extreme up slopes and down slopes made me really wana cry. i walk for 2 hours before reaching this place which happen to be up for rental.

therefore, i called up the angency and wa-la~!
they asked me to head down to toowong village which happened to be 10 min bus ride away to take the keys n inspect the house myself. and knowing that i saw this property online before but it did say that its onli avaible on 7th july onwards, i asked the operator that is she sure i can collect and view it today

she gave me a hardcore Yes.

so i took a bus there.

not easy ya knw. didnt know what fucking bus to take at all. want to ask people also difficult. couldnt see a fucking living thing around at all except for a mouse that ran across the street.

anyway heng before i came to australia i got pray to my ah gong ah ma. As the Saying goes, "Wu bai wu po pi, bo bai chut dai ji", i managed to grab a bus down to toowong village.

i asked for road directions to the agency again. oh ya by the way, i realised that i am beginning to have aussie accent when i talk now. jialat.

i wan my lah, ooi, wa, siah lah back... sob sob~

anyway i entered the agency and eyes immediately open big big. the counter gal not bad.

but then kan ni na~ she told me she made a mistake. the keys still with the tenants and can onli take on 7th july, i feel like slapping her..

waste my time, bus fare.

but fuck it, heng she chio or not i scold her i am a gracious Singaporean. not wanting to waste the trip there, i requested for a list of rental places. found one not so bad de so i place a deposit of 50AUD and head down to view the apartment.

since the office was about to close and taking a bus there was too messy, i took a cab down. i heard people say that cabs in aust are expensive, but i wana know how expensive.

so i backside itchy go hail a cab.

to get a better view of the taxi meter, i sat in the front seat. ok starting not so bad. start of from 2.70AUD. still ok..

then i raise my head to observe the surroundings for a while onli then when i turned to look at the meter again, MY BALLS DROPPED~!

what the fuck~!

3.40AUD liao. i jus raise my head for 20 sec loh.

this time, i stared hard at the fucking meter. it jumped by 20 cents per unit. and tink jumped every like 7 sec. SO EXP~!!!!~

when i got down, it was 6 bucks~!!!

fuck~!!!!

this teached a lesson, Dont be backside itchy nx time.

anyway the house was creepy. got basement somemore. and whole place was empty. didnt stay there too long.

after that, i didnt take a taxi to return the keys anymore. i walk for 200m n took a bus down to return the keys.

alighted and on the way to the agency, saw Subway. 3.95AUD!

cheapest sandwich i see so far. guess i will pamper myself for dinner. cause never had anything for the whole day except a 2AUD chocolate milk which i bought while house hunting.

And Finally...

I have arrived..

sat through a painstaking ride of 7 hours on the plane. i couldnt get to sleep, i couldnt talk to anyone and worst~!
i couldnt stretch my fuckin legs. so bloody cramp cause i am so bloody fat the seats are quite close together.

anyway once again thanks to my frans who made it a point to send me all the way to the airport. sorry i didnt talked much. i was already nervous enough.

now i understand how the saying "Balls stuck in my throat" came about. i really felt that.

customs in Australia was really strict. imagine when the plane touched down, it was just 640am. but when i finally managed to get out from the airport, its aready 830am.

1stly, like all customs, i had to queue up awaiting to chop my passport. but the queue was sooo long. and its so strict till they actually had a dog that went around sniffing our luggage.

one poor fellow was so sway that the dog stopped for a mere 2 sec infront of him and immediately, a guy ask him to open his luggage on the spot. RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE QUEUE.

really poor fellow. bet must be the Hershey's chocolate his gf poured on him while trying to blow him food stains which he left over while having his flight meals.

anyway once the 1st chopping of passport was over, i had to head on to retrieve my luggage. and mind you, i nvr pay so much attention to the moving belts which were carrying the luggages.

but i had no choice but use the straining of the power of my eyes which i normally use on Orchard Road on the gals as the belt was moving so fast.

once done, i had to queue up again for bags inspection. and once again, the queue was led so far out that it made a U-Turn in between.

finally evrythin was done and i head out to find my driver which was supposingly supposed to send me to my temporary accommodation to UQ.

"Are you Zee Kueng?" the mister said to me.
"Kan Ni Na" was what i wanted to say to him.

nonetheless, once i am outside of singapore, i am protecting the graciousness of our people.

"oh yes certainly. But you can just call me hong" oh my, i am so courteous.

*anyway skip skip skip

i reached my lok kok room and bed....

i slept straight way without bathing all the way...

till 2pm before i had but no choice to pull myself out from bed as shops closes at 4 or 5pm. still have to go open my bank account and buy my pre-paid Sim card.

Lots of problems settling the sim card. gotta call here and there.

the fucking ang mohs dont understand my english,
while i fucking dont bother to understand their english.

anyway all's well ends well. finally thing is settled and i am a happy man. now whats left is to find a place to settle for my nx 2 yrs.

On a quest tomorrow ----------- House Hunting

and ya, the bus are fuckin difficult to understand here. dont know how to pay and dont know where the fuck it goes and dont know how the fuck to alight. today i got so fed up that i walked up to the driver and requested for alight at nx stop.

so high tech. gotta walk all the way. or maybe i am still moron enough to havent understand thier system. nvm, tmr will be a better day.

had a delicious meal for dinner. 2 slice of plain bread.

`things are just too expensive.`
